Today in the grocery store, I find holding myself from grabbing shampoos, body washes and other toiletries carelessly right on to my cart, just because they look attractive or new! I’m a typical product junkie (your typical consumer) and I tend to just hoard whatever product that’s new or hot in the magazines or ads. I always want to be careful with foot products because the feet absorbs A LOT of whatever we apply on it and generally it affects our major internal organs. Quick health tip: Some people believe that the feet represents the totality of your health. A simple foot pain can signal numerous health conditions, some serious and others caused by wear and tear. John Amante of Souq Organics has been raving about this product. When I tried it, I totally fell in love with it. “MY GAWWWD!!”– My not-really-the-vain-type-of-guy husband shrieked with joy when he tried it! Off to my staple product list! Sometimes, my feet becomes dry from all the shoe-wearing and it becomes flaky. After shower, you slather just a little bit on your feet and perhaps get a good foot massage (*wink, especially if you have an awesome hubby *wenk wenk), OMG– it’s definitely an INSTANT STRESS-RELIEVER! I’ve tried other foot products (especially local ones), they usually are just fluffy and smells funny and artificial, and requires a lot of application, this one has a strong relaxing scent of Eucalyptus. You just really need a little. The scent goes all the way up to your nostrils, definitely helps in the relaxation, and leaves your feet feeling fresh and delicately fragranced!

(Top #2) The Bio Pha Intimate Hygiene: Your new bestfriend!
The moment I discovered my feminity a.k.a. puberty stage (a.k.a pag dadalaga), the local grocery store gave us women only a few options to take care of our feminine health. Even our OB Gyne only recommends these chemical-intensive feminine washes. When I got pregnant (and nesting) I started my obsession for healthy organic products, like a typical mother hen hunting for only the safest possible products to create a healthy environment for my soon-to-be-baby. I began to discover the world of natural products! Only a few carries “natural” feminine washes. That’s why when I got my hands on Bio Pha, Intimate Hygiene Gel- the halleluiah moment!
What I like about it: Contains marigold extract that softens and smoothens and organic orange flower water that leaves a natural, fresh scent on the skin. Ok ladies… just trust me with the scent here! It looks too gentle, but believe me… it has lasting power!! ;0 One of my favorites!!

I can’t believe it’s as cold as Tagaytay today here in Manila. This one’s a favorite especially on colder months! A soap-free shower gel that gently cleanses the skin without damaging its protective hydrolipidic film. Superstar ingredient again is: organic aloe vera! It doesn’t have that strong scent like other body washes because it’s 100% natural and doesn’t contain any artificial scent and color. But it leaves a mild, fresh and fruity scent on the skin though. Available in Citrus, Pear and Apple. I won’t use this for the baby for now though. She still switches between Aveeno and Mustela.
Quick fact on soaps with Triclosan: There’s evidence that children with prolonged exposure to triclosan have a higher chance of developing allergies, including peanut allergies and hay fever.

Even if they are organic, they are reasonably priced versus the same chemical brands in the grocery store!Honestly, the packaging isn’t really that attractive! It looks way too expensive, but if you really look into it, would you give and slather your loved ones with those chemicals or add a few pesos just to know they are safe?

Bio Pha is such an unappreciated organic brand in the Philippines. (Unlike in Europe) I’m so thankful to Souq Organics for bringing them here! Souq Organics is 100% legit company, that hold ECO CERTIFIED certified brands. My first purchase from Souq Organics, they didn’t know I was still a blogger. They replaced the said products immediately and attended to my concerns. They even delivered my requested products the next day! While some companies claim that they are organic, but sadly don’t have the heart to deal with their consumers with integrity and honesty on their words. Please be careful with these companies, especially new and start-up ones!
